Yes, you can enjoy mess-free period sex with the DIVA™ Disc, though we recommend emptying it before getting started. Note that the DIVA™ Disc is not a contraceptive device, and it can’t protect you from sexually transmitted diseases.
If you’ve had sex with the disc in, we recommend waiting 30 to 60 minutes before removing it. This gives your pelvic floor muscles time to relax and your cervix to return to its normal position, making removal easier. The disc’s oval shape helps it stay securely in place without rotating.
DIVA Condoms are safe to use with the DIVA Lubricator — our Aloe-based, ultra moisturising formula. You can also use other water-based or silicone-based lubricants with latex, polyisoprene, or polyurethane condoms.
