Yes. The DIVA™ Cup is made from 100% medical-grade silicone with no added chemicals (no BPA), latex, dyes, or plastics. Also, if properly cleansed and cared for, and there are no signs of deterioration—your DIVA™ Cup is safe to use for up to several years.

Some discoloration is normal and depends on the uniqueness of each person’s flow. Rest assured; it does not affect the cup’s safety or performance.

To help reduce staining, rinse your cup with cold water first to remove menstrual flow before washing it with warm water and a mild, oil-free, fragrance-free cleanser such as DIVA™ Wash. Regular cleaning keeps your cup fresh and in good condition over time.

As the DIVA™ Cup is a personal care product, we recommend that you inspect your cup regularly for signs of deterioration such as a sticky or powdery film, severe discolouration, odor, etc. If you detect any deterioration, or if you experience irritation, we recommend you replace your DIVA™ Cup with a new one.

The lifespan of your menstrual cup may vary, depending on vaginal pH, how often and how well your cup is cleansed, what cleansing agents are used, etc. Our general guideline is that a DIVA™ Cup can last up to 5 years, but it is ultimately up to the consumer to decide when to replace their cup.

It can take some time to get the hang of insertion and removal. First, don’t panic—the cup cannot get "lost" inside you. If you’re having trouble removing it, our team is here to help. You can email support@divacup.com or text 1-866-444-3482 for guidance.

If your cup has been inserted for less than 12 hours, take a deep breath — you have time. If it’s been more than 12 hours, seek medical assistance for safe removal. Never use tools like pliers or tweezers to remove your cup.

To make removal easier, relax your pelvic floor muscles. Tension can cause the pelvic floor to contract, pulling the cup higher and making it harder to reach. Try a few rounds of box breathing (inhale 4 seconds, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4) to release tension. Once relaxed, find a comfortable position — standing, squatting, or sitting on the toilet.

Gently insert your thumb and index finger until you feel the stem. Pinch the base to release the seal before easing the cup out and never pull it by the stem alone.

We recommend at the beginning of each cycle; the DIVA™ Cup may be submerged in an open pan of boiling water (continuous rolling boil) for 5-10 minutes. Do not leave the boiling pot unattended and use enough water so that the pan does not boil dry.

Please know that boiling is not “mandatory”, it’s just a recommendation. Many consumers choose to just wash their cup regularly with mild, fragrance-free, oil-free soap (like DIVA™ Wash) and water, which is also sufficient to keep the silicone safe and intact.

The DIVA™ Disc is one-size-fits-most. The disc's soft but firm rim and flexible oval shape help it to stay in place during use and is designed to work with your anatomy for ultimate comfort.

Yes, you can use a DIVA™ Disc with an IUD. However, t's always best to talk to your healthcare provider before using any internal period products with an IUD.

Yes, you can enjoy mess-free period sex with the DIVA™ Disc, though we recommend emptying it before getting started. Note that the DIVA™ Disc is not a contraceptive device, and it can’t protect you from sexually transmitted diseases.

If you’ve had sex with the disc in, we recommend waiting 30 to 60 minutes before removing it. This gives your pelvic floor muscles time to relax and your cervix to return to its normal position, making removal easier. The disc’s oval shape helps it stay securely in place without rotating.

The DIVA™ Disc is designed to stay in place and not empty during urination, however depending on anatomy or heaviness of flow, it may empty a bit during urination. That is totally normal to see some blood in the toilet. This is a sign that your pelvic floor muscles are doing their job!

Once your disc is clean and completely dry, store it in the cotton pouch provided, away from humidity and scented products. Never store your DIVA™ Disc in an airtight container.

Please wash before first use.

After wearing, we suggest immediately rinsing with cold water, squeezing gently, until the water runs clear. If you have it handy, DIVA Wash can also be used to lather the gusset, followed by thoroughly rinsing until the water runs clear. DIVA Wash is not a replacement for laundry detergent.

Machine wash in cold or warm water at a maximum 30 degrees Celsius/86 degrees Fahrenheit. Use mild detergent and a delicate setting. Hang to dry. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean or tumble dry.

No, The Lubricator does not contain spermicide and should not be used as a contraceptive.

Yes. The Lubricator is safe with natural rubber latex and polyisoprene condoms but is not compatible with polyurethane condoms.

The lubricator has been formulated for penile and/or vaginal application, and we do not recommend using it to insert a menstrual cup or disc. It is formulated to supplement the body’s natural lubrication and to moisturize and lubricate, making intimate sexual activity more comfortable.

Yes. The Refresher effectively cleanses sweat, odor, discharge, and period blood from your delicate vulvar skin while nourishing skin with refreshing hydration.

A brief tingling may occur the first few times you use The Refresher. This is normal for skin that is irritated from dryness. If irritation continues, please discontinue use and consult a physician.
