Discolouration will vary and depend on the uniqueness of each person’s flow. Rest assured; discolouration will not impair the functionality of your menstrual cup.

As the DIVA™ Cup is a personal care product, we recommend that you inspect your cup regularly for signs of deterioration such as a sticky or powdery film, severe discolouration, odor, etc. If you detect any deterioration, or if you experience irritation, we recommend you replace your DIVA™ Cup with a new one.

The lifespan of your menstrual cup may vary, depending on vaginal pH, how often and how well your cup is cleansed, what cleansing agents are used, etc. Our general guideline is that a DIVA™ Cup can last up to 5 years, but it is ultimately up to the consumer to decide when to replace their cup.

It can take some time to get the hang of insertion and removal. However, the vaginal canal is an elastic, muscular tube only about four (4) – five (5) inches (10.2 – 12.7 cm) long—there is nowhere for the DIVA™ Cup to get “lost” inside of you, as the vagina does not connect to other parts of the body.

When inserted correctly, the DIVA™ Cup should sit low at the base of the canal, away from the cervix, making it possible for you to reach the stem and grip the base to remove it. Making sure to keep your muscles relaxed for removal is key!

We recommend at the end of each cycle; the DIVA™ Cup may be submerged in an open pan of boiling water (continuous rolling boil) for 5-10 minutes. Do not leave the boiling pot unattended and use enough water so that the pan does not boil dry.

Please know that boiling is not “mandatory”, it’s just a recommendation. Some consumers do not boil their cups at all, as regular cleansing with soap and water can be sufficient to maintain the integrity of the silicone.

The DIVA™ Disc is one-size-fits-most. The disc's soft but firm rim and oval shape help it to stay in place during use and is designed to work with your anatomy for ultimate comfort.

Ensuring the disc is inserted at the correct angle can help with disc placement with a low cervix.

While you can use a DIVA™ Disc with an IUD, it's always best to talk to your healthcare provider before using any internal period products with an IUD.

Yes, you can enjoy no mess period sex with the DIVA™ Disc, though we recommend emptying it before getting started. Note that the DIVA™ Disc is not a contraceptive device, and it can’t protect you from sexually transmitted diseases.

No – You will need to go through your insurer to get reimbursed for your DivaCup or Diva Disc purchase. If you need a receipt, reach out to our team at support@divacup.com and we would be happy to provide you with a copy.

Route ensures that consumers get what they paid for, and their expert support team is here to ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded as preferred. We offer Route Package Protection with every order, which covers packages that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit.

Once the order has been shipped and the tracking information has been provided, Diva is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once the package leaves the warehouse, it becomes the responsibility of USPS/Canada Post. 

Route Package Protection is automatically added to your order at checkout but can be removed. Please note that, if you choose to remove Route Package Protection from your order, you accept that Diva does not provide coverage for packages that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit. If you chose not to get Route Package Protection and your order ends up lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, you will need to reach out to the USPS/Canada Post directly to file a claim. 

If you selected Route Package Protection at checkout, and your package ends up lost, damaged in transit, or stolen, you will need to file a claim with Route so that their team can help you out right away. You can file a Route claim here. If your claim is approved, Route will get your package replaced or refunded.
