Yes! The DIVA™ Disc is a great option for those with a low cervix. The anti-slip pull-tab will come in handy when it's time to remove your disc.

Ensuring the disc is inserted at the correct angle can help with disc placement with a low cervix.

Yes, you can use a DIVA™ Disc with an IUD. However, t's always best to talk to your healthcare provider before using any internal period products with an IUD.

Yes, you can enjoy mess-free period sex with the DIVA™ Disc, though we recommend emptying it before getting started. Note that the DIVA™ Disc is not a contraceptive device, and it can’t protect you from sexually transmitted diseases.

If you’ve had sex with the disc in, we recommend waiting 30 to 60 minutes before removing it. This gives your pelvic floor muscles time to relax and your cervix to return to its normal position, making removal easier. The disc’s oval shape helps it stay securely in place without rotating.

The DIVA™ Disc is one-size-fits-most. The disc's soft but firm rim and flexible oval shape help it to stay in place during use and is designed to work with your anatomy for ultimate comfort.

The DIVA™ Disc is made of 100% medical-grade silicone and pigments.

The DIVA™ Disc is designed to stay in place and not empty during urination, however depending on anatomy or heaviness of flow, it may empty a bit during urination. That is totally normal to see some blood in the toilet. This is a sign that your pelvic floor muscles are doing their job!

If you notice leaking during wear or consistent auto-dumping, our Consumer Experience team can help you troubleshoot fit and placement. Reach out anytime at support@divacup.com or text 1-866-444-3482.

Once your disc is clean and completely dry, store it in the cotton pouch provided, away from humidity and scented products. Never store your DIVA™ Disc in an airtight container.

Yes, both the DIVA™ Cup and Disc can be worn safely for up to 12 hours, making them ideal for overnight use. They do not carry the same TSS risk as tampons.

If it’s your first time using a cup or disc, we recommend trying it during the day first. This helps ensure correct placement and comfort. If inserted incorrectly, the cup or disc can move higher during sleep, which may make removal more difficult in the morning.

Absolutely. Both the DIVA™ Cup and DIVA™ Disc are designed for active lifestyles — including swimming, yoga, and sports. They stay securely in place and provide reliable leak protection through movement.

Before getting active, empty your cup or disc and make sure it’s inserted correctly. This helps maintain a secure fit and prevents leaks during physical activity.

Yes. DIVA Cup Model 0 is a great option specifically for teens and beginners. The DIVA discs can also be used by teens, though they may require more practice.

Keep in mind that internally worn products are not recommended if the hymen needs to remain intact. For personalized support, our customer service team is always happy to help you choose the best fit.

The main difference between the DIVA™ Cup and the DIVA™ Disc lies in their positioning, design, and how they stay in place.

The DIVA™ Cup sits lower in the vaginal canal and creates a gentle seal to stay in place. It is ideal for those who prefer a more traditional menstrual cup experience.

In contrast, the DIVA™ Disc sits higher in the vaginal canal and is tucked behind the pubic bone. It offers the added benefit of being wearable during penetrative sex, making it a more flexible option for some users. The DIVA™ Disc may also be a great option for users with a low cervix or IUD.

The tab may shift during wear. Try bearing down with your pelvic muscles to bring it closer. The disc’s oval shape helps prevent rotation, but if it’s deeply placed, use your index finger to hook and remove it.

Note that, if you had period sex with the disc in, we recommend waiting 30 mins to an hour before removing the DIVA Disc. This is to give your pelvic floor muscles enough time to 'relax' and your cervix to come back to its normal position. The cervix tends to move higher during sex which would make removal more difficult right after.

Insertion shouldn’t be painful, but it can feel awkward or uncomfortable at first — especially when learning placement and folds. It can take a few cycles to become confident with either product.

If you experience ongoing discomfort, or just need guidance, our support team is always here to help at support@divacup.com or 1-866-444-3482.
