How to use Period Underwear

Before wearing, machine wash in cold or warm water at a maximum 30 degrees Celsius. Use mild detergent and a delicate setting. Hang to dry. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean or tumble dry.

After wearing, we suggest immediately rinsing with cold water, squeezing gently, until the water runs clear. If you have DIVA Wash handy, lather a small amount into the gusset and rinse with cold water until the water runs clear. DIVA Wash is not a replacement for laundry detergent.

Machine wash in cold or warm water at a maximum 30 degrees Celsius. Use mild detergent and a delicate setting. Hang to dry. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean or tumble dry.

DIVA Period Underwear absorbs up to 9 regular size tampons worth of menstrual flow.

Choosing to hand wash, while not necessary, can help extend the lifespan.

Fill a small tub or sink with cold water and a small amount of mild detergent. Swish the detergent through the water to mix in and dissolve, and place your period underwear in the water.

Gently massage and release a few times before leaving them to soak for 10-15 minutes. Reusable period underwear may need some time to saturate properly—thanks to the ultra-absorbent internal layering.

After leaving it to sit, gently massage the underwear to get anything left in it out. The water might look a bit murky at this point—that’s how you know it’s working! Empty the water from the tub and rinse each pair under cold water until the water runs clear. Hang to dry.
