Meet Sky

Artist. Model. DivaCup User.

“I have been using the DivaCup for so many years now – my friends got me into it and I’m so glad that they did.

In my spare time I like going camping or hiking or just spending time outdoors in nature.

I feel most connected and in flow when I am working on my art, painting and just creating things.”

My first DivaCup experience

It definitely was love at first try.

I think it maybe took me one or two times to really trust it because I wasn't sure at first.

But then it was like I never went back. I never, ever, ever went back.

Creating a community

With all of my friends, we've converted each other into using DivaCup.

We tell everyone else that we know if we hear them saying, “Oh, does anyone have a tampon?”

We're like, “You have to get with the program, we're using cups, we're using menstrual cups now."

Reduce Waste

I camp a lot, and having it camping is so ideal because you don't have any waste. So that's major.

DivaCup has a recycling program where you can send in your used cups and they recycle it and turn it into kids' playgrounds and other products.

That's pretty cool.

"It's 2021 and we all have one vision to save this planet and keep bettering what we're doing. And I think that people that use menstrual cups are definitely moving in that progressive direction.

Normalizing period talk

I think it's important to speak on your period, and so I'll definitely say, oh my gosh, I'm hurting or I'm bloated or I'm this or that right now.

All of us are having it and experiencing it in different ways.

And I think with anything speaking about things and normalizing is the most important thing we can do.

Freedom to say no

I'm kind of a yes woman, though I really like to take every opportunity I can get, but sometimes you need to be able to be strong and say no.

And that's not a negative thing, and it's an empowering thing to be able to say no.
